This was one of a series of magazines I worked on for Ingredients Online as a member of their marketing department. My repsonsabilites included image selection and creation, page layouts, cover design, splash page design for the ingredients listing, an ad for our appearance at the SupplySide East trade show, gathering copy and third party ads from stakeholders, and pre-press file preparation. One notable design choice I made in this versus previous magazines was to utilize photos of ingredients in the ingredients list section. Prior designers relied of fancy graphics but never included any photos of the actual ingredients themselves which I thought was a missed opportunity. Collaboration with the marketing manager included ad placements and the order and number of articles. Article copy was provided by third party authors.
